Actually, Daniel (my husband) gave me that opportunity last night. :)
Before he left work he called to tell me not to touch a thing. Unfortunately, I had already cleaned the house. Then he told me not to cook dinner. Fortunately, I had not touched a piece of food.
So, I went outside on my porch.... lit the fire pit and grabbed my laptop with my blanket.
I had time to e-mail, to blog about the things that make me happy when I am down, and finish my book.
I was able to enjoy the fire and some quiet time by myself. I plugged my phone in, turned on my Pandora to The Civil Wars, and relaxed.

When he came home last night he continued to tell me how much he appreciates me. And he wanted me to understand that he sees how hard I work- as a domestic wife and a working wife. He gave me a sweet gift of appreciation and dinner at home.
He cracks me up.
He was so excited about his "creation" which was delicious, an omelet bacon tortilla pizza.
We even had the opportunity to sit together by the fire, eat dinner and talk. Sweet moments.
It's so great being married. :)
And today, it's going to be a relaxing day for me. If it doesn't rain later today... I will go to the Farmer's Market. But before the market, I want to spend some time sipping on a tea latter and reading books at the library. And later, make Autumn Corn Soup. Yum.
What are you doing today?? Is it beginning to look like Fall where you live? It's Fall here! :)
Here's a yummy drink to try! :) Coconut Almond milk with melted Nutella... warm it up together in a small sauce pan on the stove!! :) It takes 5 minutes!
Happy Writing Friends,
Jamie
Jamie - The news keeps reporting that we are going to see triple digit weather! I wouldn't mind a cooler day wrapped up in a blanket reading, but it looks like we will be in search of cooler options!
