#throwbackthursday

Ummmmmm, 2 weeks without writing? It was a little longer than I was planning but totally needed. I had just recently read a friend's blog and she was challenged with the idea... not everything needs to be blogged about...or not every detail, event, or idea needs to be shared! And so I thought, I need to just sit and enjoy my life daily... without the pressure of entertaining or just purely writing for others. This blog is just here for some good laughs, great memories, and plenty of growing experience... so I can reminisce and learn.

Today's #throwbackthursday is a good laugh and great memory and was the beginning of my senior year of highschool.

Yes, that is me on the left. :) So slim and tan... with hot blonde hair. These are my friends from high school, Jessica in the front and Felicia in the back... we played varsity softball together, grew up together in the softball community, and the last two years of high school became super close.

This day was a blast! We went to Santa Cruz  Beach Boardwalk for a day full of Senior Fun... this was our Senior Skip Day! We got passes for all the rides (unlimited) with lunch and a perfect day on the beach! And let me tell you- that day was HOT (for more reason than just temperature)!

Well, originally... I wasn't wearing that little blue bikini. I was wearing a strapless black bikini. And for some reason we ended up not riding on the same bus... I think just Jess and I did. But later in the day, we FINALLY FOUND FELICIA. And with all the excitement, she ran up and gave me a HUGE HUG... which included getting her bracelet caught on my bikini top... and the rest is history.

Yes, you guessed. Once Felicia let go of me, so did my bikini top... fell to the floor. I will NEVER forget the faces of my friends and my WHOLE senior class around me. We all just stood there is amazement on what just happened to me- BARE chested.

I remember thinking, "ugggghhhh, HELP!?!" And I think in shock, no one knew what to do! Thankfully Felicia had a tank underneath, passed it to me and I ran in a store looking for another top.

After some tears in the dressing room, a couple phone calls to my sister and momma bear...
I finally faced the reality that yes, I flashed the class of 2008...
and LUCKY them! ;)

Link up today...! Tell me about a #throwbackthursday!
